Let me see, um, Critterman, Chemist, anyone else?  How are they holding up.  Glad you did it.  What differences have you noticed since you got it installed.  Fuel mileage?  Butt Dyno.

Oh...there's no doubt...it's the best thing you can do to an NA Solstice.

What a transformation!  Smooth, linear power...virtually from idle to wherever.  Tractable, manageable, controllable...yet capable of truly impressive lay-down of power.  It actually feels as if a small V8 is transplanted.

Fuel mileage (as if I care) never drops below 24-25 no matter how hard I play.

Randy and Dave performed a minor miracle with this set-up...and I, for one, am very appreciative.

WORD!  The Ion Red Line crowd likes to get the K&N CAI just to amplify the whine (I say "just" because we have a factory CAI so they don't give us any more power).

Edit: They also like to remove the silencer from the factory intake to get more whine.

I'll echo Jackknife across the board. I love the power, mileage is acceptable when I put my foot in it, stock +/- 1 mpg when I drive "circumspectly" Big Grin.

The only thing I'd change (tension pulley design) will get changed when stage III comes out. I'll stay at stage II, but change to the new pulley design.

Here's a few pics of mine:

I can't wait until Dave and Randy start to research twin charging our cars.  A whistle and a whine would sound amazing!

The whine is, indeed, intoxicating.

In fact, I read that after-market suppliers are getting requests from retailers to raise the level of the sound from the Eaton superchargers to a level above the OEM requirement.

The sound of pure power...music to my ears.

I though you had driven my car Joe,  what can I say,  I have had some issues, all when I was being an idiot.  Thrown a belt or two (never under 7k) playing, ate some wiring, and could never hear the whine until I got rid of the magnaflow and went with the Solo SQR2.

:woohoo:It is a fun car to drive, it keeps up with the tuned GXP's, and turns heads everytime you let her whine   woohoo

Wife wasn't too happy when I would hit   Drag Racing it as it liked to torque left, then right, then left in 1st and 2nd gear, very quickly and scary if you didn't know it was comming.  backbrace and probeam took care of that, she squats and goes.  Lot easier to take off without spinning the tires since that change as well.  She will still light em up on demand, but the whole idea is to get the power to the ground.

Okay, I will shut my motormouth now didn't mean to write a book.  Guess you could say I like it a lot, and waiting (in)patitently for Stage III  Gaah

Yeah we have been waiting on the new pulleys to come in for the new supercharger set-up that we are doing. This is the first major revision to the kit since we released it and takes care of a couple things that I have wanted in the kit. The new kits will retain the stock autotensioner for the A/C and Alternator and then have a seperate 6 rib belt (instead of the factory 5 rib belt) that will be driving the supercharger with its own seperate autotensioner. This is a little rendering we did of the engine with the new supercharger set-up:

Tell us about your SuperChargers

The rendering does not have the alternator or A/C Compressor in it, and is missing a few nuts and bolts, etc, but gives a general idea of what we did with the new set-up.

Dave,

Speaking of the stock autotensioner, I'm hoping you've still got a few of those hanging about the shop to put back on those of us without them now, when we go to the new pulley system?  Big Grin

I've got my old tensioner plus the original belt...wonder if that gets re-used also?

I'm dying ride in someone's blown LE5.  The only supercharged 4cyl i've ever driven was a miniS but i'm figuring this is a lot more fun.

Wow, thanks for posting the pics.  I knew this setup was out there but it's awesome to see it.  So great you can have the economy of a 4 banger with this much fun!!!  I'd love the whine coming from the supercharger.  Was at a store a few months ago and I heard that sound coming up behind.  Nothing like that anywhere!  Turned around and it was a blown late 60s Camaro.  Brought a big smile to my face  Smile

i just freakin love the thing.... woohoo

whines as soon as you want more power + great on gas and almost silent when not sollicited.

best of both world.
amazing and usable torque curve, instant power at will Drag Racing

only bad part is that as it now goes quicker and faster you soon realize that a brake pad upgrade would be cool,(read wise)
that stiffening up the suspension would be cool,
that installing real tires instead of the stock rsa would be cool,(read wise )

but, if you do those upgrades, you might end up with a car that this quicker and one that outhandles a porsche boxster or cayman S that is 3 time the price.

Now that is way too cool.
the look on their face (in the rear view mirror of course )

 priceless. LOL LOL

The Stage II DDM totally transforms the car. It provides awsome power while keeping the mileage and driveability close to stock. Instant passing power without downshifts.
Oh yeah, the sound is nice when the SC kicks in!
