We'll after a fitfull install of HP Tuners I finally got things sorted out. Seems if one receives the wrong serial number and key code (without knowing it) everything sort of

in the computer. Bill at HPT and Dave at Dejon got the correct information to me so after working that out at my end this allowed me to flash copy the stock program and send it to Lyndon. It was quickly returned but another minor SNAFU struck. Once again Bill helped out, so after a program update to be compatible with Lyndon's version I was able to reflash my ECM. (Interesting side note; the LNF ECM takes 20 minutes to completely copy where the 2.4 takes about 4-5 minutes. Now THAT is a big pile of code!!!)
First drive would have been almost a ho-hum because there was not as big a change as I anticipated. But upon a bit of reflection I had to factor in that a catless DP went on last week which REAL woke up things in the mid-range. So there was s significant change already in place and another big change today. Had I done the DP and tune at the same time I am quite confident I would have wetted myself!!!!!! It was weird hammering the car in 1st and 2nd and WAITING until 7000 rpm to shift. NICE. Also, after only one 10 minute drive cycle the engine gets a bit confused at about 6000 rpm but that is most likely a "learn" situation. Kind of fun looking at 22-23 psi instead of 14-16 psi, and it sure can be felt. Even with re-valved Konis, 450 pound rear springs, and a Pro-Beam in second gear between 5500 and 6000 rpm it sort of

and almost will not stay hooked up (on those Goodyears). Can't wait to throw the Hoosiers on and see how it is. Also seems smoother at idle and light load around 45-60 mph. Next, I'll put some more miles on it to let it "learn". But first, the control arms come off for some poly bushings.
