Paint Color Codes
« on: January 21, 2009, 10:49:26 PM »
I was thinking that a good "sticky" would be if someone had all of the paint codes for our kappa cars.  I know the paint code for brazen, which is 28U, WA-502Q (Inferno Orange Metallic).  I think it would be helpful to all of us to have all the various paint codes.  So......if you know them, please post them and we can make this a sticky.

When going to have paint mixed, the paint shops only need the last 4 digits of the code...

Is "WA722J  Dk Ming Blue Met" the same as the 08 Deep blue ?  If so, i dont really understand why it's only under 2006-2007.  I'm guessing "08 add'" are the new colors that were available for the 08 models but since the same blue is also available, shouldnt the 06-07 be changed to 06-08 or..09?  Maybe I just dont understand your layout.

All years contain vehicles of the same color codes.  I listed it this way as to not continualy keep repeating the same code over and over and just identify the new codes released for that year.  I will adjust the year on the 06/07 list if it will help keep things clear.

I didn't even take it that way and it made sense that it could be confusing to some.  I put it together of course knowing exactly what I was meaning so it made perfect sense to me that way from the get go.

722J is the 06 to 08 Deep.  The 09 Deep is a different part number as they removed the metal flake.

I don't see the Kinetic blue that was on the car at Mecca III. They did say the color code was 24, I asked specifically.  :idk:

Actually, it was Hypnotic Blue as per Small Dealer and it was a 2010 color.
